Caribe Gambling Awareness Leadership Program: Join the 2024 PSA Team!

The Caribe Gambling/Gaming Awareness Youth Leadership Team is excited to extend an invitation for you to join our prestigious 2024 PSA Team. This is your chance to be one of the five dynamic individuals to shape public perception and make a significant impact in our community.

What You Need to Know:

Our initiative, now in its fifth year, is designed to engage teens in fun, innovative ways to enhance awareness about gambling and gaming. Our dual focus is to promote safe practices while nurturing essential leadership and public speaking skills. The program's objectives are:

  1. Education and Engagement: Empowering high school youth with knowledge about the risks of gambling and the available resources for assistance.
  2. Skill Development: Building competencies in research, community assessment, data analysis, marketing, filming, acting, and content creation.
  3. Leadership Growth: Enhancing public speaking abilities tailored for high school students.
  4. Community Empowerment: Encouraging youth to use their voices to tackle community challenges.
  5. PSA Creation: Producing a compelling 1-minute video Public Service Announcement.

Through our consistent efforts, we've made a mark by reaching out to diverse groups, including store owners, churches, parent groups, school administrators, and middle schoolers.
